We had an excellent turnout of people anxious to start the gardening season and answered many questions concerning peonies. We signed up over a dozen new members and handed out a lot of information about our society in the form of brochures and business cards showing our web site. Many thanks go to Sun Peony, La Pivoinerie D'Aoust and Golden Acre Garden center for their generous donations for our new members and renewing members draw.

It was very interesting to field a number of questions about tree peonies and the continued success that Albertans are having with them. This was also a banner year for the numbers of volunteers to help out at the booth. We had 9 CPS members that took a shift over a busy weekend to make our booth so successful.

We are already starting to plan for next year to make 2008 even better.
